About

Our History

Acme Moving was founded in 2011 by Joe Wilson, who started with a simple vision: to provide reliable and personalized moving services for families and businesses across the United States. What began as a small local moving service has steadily grown into a respected regional company known for its dedication to customer care and quality.

Key Milestones

2011: In the early years, the company operated locally with a small fleet and team. Insurance for clients’ belongings was introduced early, building a reputation for reliability.
2011 – 2015: Acme Moving expanded to long-distance and commercial moves. Full packing, unpacking, and storage services were added. New equipment and staff improved efficiency while keeping personalized service.
2016 – 2019: The company earned trust handling specialty items like pianos and fragile furniture. Transparent pricing and insurance options helped maintain steady growth and satisfied clients.
2020 – 2023: During the pandemic, Acme Moving implemented safety protocols and contactless services. Technology improvements enhanced scheduling, communication, and shipment tracking. Insurance policies were updated to better protect belongings.
2024: Now, Acme Moving operates with a skilled team, modern fleet, and secure storage. While not the market leader, the company prioritizes reliability, personalized service, and insurance coverage for peace of mind.
